A durable futbol?  What a great idea!!

Josh and Lindsey Roe left for Ethiopia a in November of 2011.  They took with them 45 durable Futbol's balls.  These balls were made by The One World Futbol Project.  The idea is to provide kids in areas of poverty or crisis an opportunity to play and smile.  Where regular soccer balls pop quickly in harsh environments these balls are designed to endure extreme conditions.  Generation Alive is committed to seeing youth in Spokane actively involved in helping send these balls to areas of need.  We believe that youth can learn what compassion means and we want to offer the tools to live it out.  These pictures are some of the results of their efforts
